My body has been through a lot over the years… including playing basketball in high school and in college for the University of Connecticut and Springfield College. Yes… basketball is a physical sport 🙂
To stay active afterwards, I got involved with martial arts and cardio kickboxing, which led to becoming a certified personal fitness trainer and group instructor. These activities, along with ‘life’, took a toll on my body which eventually caught up to me. Prior to and during a trip to Costa Rica this past summer, I almost couldn’t get out of bed one day due to back pain. I decided that I needed chiropractic care.
Although I have a ways to go with my chiropractic sessions, for the first time in years I feel relatively pain free with regards to my back and neck. I have faith in the process, trust the staff and feel that personal health is the best investment an individual can make.
If I’m going to do it, and I’m committed, I’m going to see it through until I am as healthy as possible… and each day I feel incrementally better. I have already noticed many benefits, even at this stage, including more freedom of movement, increased focus, better sleep, less pain and the ability to be able to return to exercise.
I work at Conscious Capital Wealth Management, as a Whole Wealth Advisor™, where we encourage and support individuals to Live Whole™. We are passionate about this, it’s in our soul. So it is my intention to be the best version of me that I can be.
Dr. Wade and the staff at The Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury are instrumental in me achieving my own goal of living whole. Aside from the well-earned confidence I have in Dr. Wade, Amy, Brooke and the rest of the staff are not just professional, which is great, but they are fun and engaging as well. They laugh at my corny jokes and I always look forward to returning.
