My Chiropractic Life Journey with a Seasonal Perspective
I started my Chiropractic Life Journey in 2001 with Dr. Patrick DeFrancesco and the Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury.
As an avid skier, hiker, mountain biker, martial artist and all-around devoted loving husband and father, I have many opportunities to strain and hurt my body, including the very important neuromuscular system.
I also believe and practice CHI (energy) flow with Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Dr. DeFrancesco’s practice and expertise has saved me many times over almost 2 decades by keeping my CHI flowing.
While I and my wife are on a maintenance schedule that includes a complementary massage, there are many times we need additional help to mitigate the strains, inflammation and impacts of a vibrant lifestyle. This is even more crucial when working from home and finding yourself in a chair for 2 hours at a time and a 10 hour day!
From my experience and with a seasonal winter perspective, it is most imperative to be healthy with fellowship, exercise, nutrition (food & supplements), rest and striking a balance to enjoy this most precious season.
The days are getting longer and maintaining our neuromuscular system is vitally important in preparation for enjoying the spring blooms and the outdoors that are around the corner.
